This was a super fun Bear Lake trip. It was a little cool to begin with, but it was so nice to relax. Kali and Melia and getting pretty cute playing with eachother. I was surprised that they both liked being in the swing together. It looks a little squishy to me.

They now have a shaved ice shack and these palm trees to climb. Hailey, Bron and Aubrey had fun climbing while the older kids were out riding their motorcycles. These three played great together.

Bron climbing the coconut tree.

Playing in the freezing cold water at Bear Lake.

Bron wanted to see under the water with his goggles, but didn't want to get his whole body in because it was cold.

With all the water we have gotten this spring, the lake has risen quite high. This means that the only beach we could find was about 10 x 4 foot section. The rest is swampy and weedy.

Because the water was so cold we thought it would be fun to bring up the dirt bikes instead of Ben's boat. Yeah . . . Matt broke his arm. This picture does not do the break justice. It looked really gross. He broke both of the bones. He was such a trooper. We had to drive to Logan because they thought he might need surgery. Luckily he didn't, but he now has a cast all the way up to his shoulder. He is currently at Scout camp at Bear Lake. I just got word that he passed the swimming test - with a non-waterproof cast up to his shoulder. I guess that is what happens when men are in charge.

I love the picture of Melia and Kali in the swing! I really love the picture of Bron with his head in the water--classic. You need to post the hospital picture of Matt's arm that you took with your phone and emailed to me. That one does the break more justice. I hope he's doing ok. Poor kid!
Yeah - you updated!
So good to see what's happening in your world. Having four kids means there's always something going on and looks like this summer is no exception! Tell Matt we hope he heals quickly. What's with the headphones? What a crazy way to start the summer, but glad he could pass his scout swim test. That isn't easy to do even with two good arms, so it's more a testament to his great swimming skills. All those hours at Grandpa Place's pool have paid off ;-)
Everyone looks great and it's so fun to see their growth. I was thinking Kali was already 3, but I guess she's just younger than the twins? Born in 2008?
We love you guys and miss you so much! Hope your summer is great with tons of fun trips and outings and WITHOUT anymore hospital visits!
